Hi there!
I’m Matteo La Motta, a London-based 3D Generalist with nine years experience in the field. My passion for CG began in high school, when I realized that my comics, drawings and graphic layouts needed to be brought to life. I wanted to see them moving and acting, so like a child playing with a new toy I invested great lengths of time using Photoshop, After Effects and 3D Studio Max. During my 3-years degree programme in Milan I was introduced to using Maya and the course opened my mind to the limitless possibilities of 3D. In Milan I worked for a total of eight years in the field, firstly working with pre-visualizations and then moving onto broadcasting. Since having moved to London in 2007, I have worked as a free-lancer on commercials and movies for companies including; Escape studios, Th1ng, Smoke & Mirrors, all of which I had heard about when living in Italy.
